/ Mmmmm... Tasty
"First we eat, then we do everything else"- M.F.K. Fisher
We believe that the quality of the food and drink served in your chalet is arguably the most important aspect of your catered ski chalet holiday, and that to make a truly outstanding ski holiday the food you are served throughout your stay should be exceptional!
We value good quality ingredients, regardless of what's on the menu. We like to work with suppliers we know and trust, so we try and limit our supermarket shopping to the bare essentials. Our cheese comes from a co-operative in Moutiers, our meat from a local butcher who knows the producer, and our vegetables are all organically farmed. Our house wine comes from a co-operative near Lyon and we also have red and a white organic wines from Savoie on our wine list.
From our experiences travelling and working within catered chalet kitchens across Europe, we have selected and developed a number of dishes using these quality ingredients that we are sure you will love! Our aim is to provide you with delicious and hearty meals to completely satisfy your hunger after a long day skiing, and not just your inner foodie!
We are also highly experienced in child care and have been able to develop and test our kid's menu on the children we look after, and we are also experienced in catering for various dietary requirements.
Breakfast
An army of skiiers and snowboarders rides on it's stomach, we think, so the day starts with a full continental breakfast of fresh baguette, warm pain au chocolat, warm croissants, home made jams, porridge, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, fruit juices and hot drinks.
We also provide a different cooked breakfasts every day except on staff day off (or a fry up every day if you'd prefer!)
Afternoon Tea
We love the look of excitment on our guests faces when they arrive back at the chalet, with great anticipation of what freshly baked homemade cakes and cookies will be awaiting them! We have a vast selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate, all waiting for you to enjoy too.
Lactose or Gluten intolerant? Don't worry, we have some great recipes to make sure you won't miss out on all the fun!
Evening Meals
We prepare a different pre-dinner aperitif and canapé for you every night, followed by a wonderful three course meal served with free flowing red & white house wine and soft drinks. A selection of cheese from the Haute Savoie will be laid out after dinner, which you can enjoy with biscuits, red wine, teas and coffee.
Children’s dinner can be served early if required, with a homemade 2 course menu designed and developed for your children to be simple, delicious and to get a great balance of their daily goodness.
