St Martn de Belleville is a popular ski resort and is situated near the town of Moutiers in the Tarentaise Valley. With easy access to the famous Three Valleys, St Martin boasts access to the ski area's 183 lifts, 335 mark runs (600km+) and in excess of 130km of x-country tracks. The Three Valleys is every skier's paradise.

Despite being in the world famous Trois Vallées skiing area, St Martin de Belleville has managed to keep all of its traditional French character that makes it such a popular alternative to the purpose built ski resorts in the Alps. Consisting of many Alpine chalets with beautiful window boxes bursting with flowers, it is also the setting for the infamous novel by the Marquis de Sade, 120 Days of Sodom. Saint-Martin-de-Belleville is home to some fantastic restaurants that serve traditional Alpine cuisine, and also possibly the best restaurant in the French Alps, the 3 Michelin starred La Bouitte.
